About Us

"The great secret of true success, of true happiness, is this: the man or woman who asks for no return, the perfectly unselfish person, is the most successful." Swami Vivekananda

RANN is a non-governmental organization, set up in 2018, that focuses on developing women’s potential to create long lasting equitable changes in our society. We emphasize on Sustainable Development Goals, especially SDG 3 & 6 which aims at Good Health & well Being, Clean Water & Sanitation.

India’s journey towards sustainable development can't be ensured without the equal participation of its other demographic half- its women and girls, and without a strong commitment to women's health and hygiene, gender equality, legal/ civic rights, women’s empowerment.

Our programs cover mass awareness women health hygiene, viral hepatitis, drinking water, environment, sanitation as well as strategy for prevention, control of adverse effect caused due to man made as well as natural interventions. We believe that the best way to unlock human potential is through the power of creative collaboration. That's why we build partnerships between businesses, NGOs, governments, and individuals everywhere to work faster, leaner, and better; to find solutions that last; and to transform lives and communities from what they are today to what they can be, tomorrow.

Our Approach

As we move ahead our key programming approaches will include social analysis and action, gender transformative value chain approaches, leadership and life skills strengthening, building capacities and leadership roles at multiple levels, advocacy on national platforms and facilitating links and dialogues between public, private and civil society.

Strategy – increase the knowledge of viral hepatitis among the general population and promote a healthy lifestyle among persons who are newly diagnosed or living with chronic viral hepatitis

An educational strategy to increase the knowledge of viral hepatitis among the general population and promote a healthy lifestyle among persons who are newly diagnosed or living with chronic viral hepatitis includes targeted outreach to populations at risk. It can raise awareness of viral hepatitis as a health concern, increase knowledge regarding the benefits of prevention and care, and encourage populations to seek and accept preventive and protective interventions such as vaccination, testing, care and treatment. Accessing medical care will also provide opportunities to educate at-risk groups about preventive and protective measures.

Project EKJUT - COVID19

This time the COVID-19 epidemic has shattered our dreams. A sudden disturbance since 24 March has denied employment to crores of workers. Now the country is in a phase, and is trying to be normal, but the real situation is becoming extremely painful, terrible and scary. Poor, daily wage laborers, poor students and beggars are afraid of their livelihood and the uncertainty of food. Family upbringing has become difficult for millions of people who have opened their jobs in Lockdown and already unemployed.

Poor Patients Await Treatment, Their Lives Are In Danger Due To Lack Of Beds & Oxygen Concentrators

Delhi is facing the second wave of Covid-19, poor and homeless are the most suffering ones, who are struggling to get a hospital bed. RANN is running a campaign where we will provide oxygen concentrators to the neediest ones. We aim to distribute 100 oxygen concentrators in various parts of Northern Indian with generous support of our donors.

PRARAMBH Initiative

Many surveys verified the fact that Indian workforce of daily wage labourers and migrant workers were crippled due to job losses and food scarcity. People belonging to the urban informal sector, who depended on daily income (street vendors, rickshaw drivers, plumbers, carpenters, etc) were out of jobs for weeks and are one of the worst affected groups.

Affected families will be provided commercial carts to initiate their income generation activities. These carts can be used for various activities like selling vegetables, clothes, shoes, transportation of materials, etc. We expect each individual to earn Rs. 500/- to Rs. 800/ day and to manage their families firmly.
